‘Twas the Month After Christmas

‘Twas the month after Christmas, I looked through the house,
not a thing here was paid for, I felt like a louse.

The stockings were empty, my wallet was bare,
I didn’t have a dime and nobody cared.

On Visa! On Mastercard! On AMEX and Discover!
I even tried borrowing cash from my brother!

The mortgage was due and they all wanted money
You know something, friend, this wasn’t so funny!

I remembered I saw that ad a while back
No Quotas! No Stress! No Kidding! No Flack!

I got up the courage and jumped right on in,
and this year my wallet isn’t so thin!
