Hi everyone! Last weekend I attended a “Create Your Future Now” weekend with Marcia Wieder, America’s Dream Coach. Marcia is a fantastic, masterful speaker and was really effective at getting us all to dream big for our lives, not just our businesses. I went with about 10 people from our local DSWA Chapter and it has been really fun getting to know them better and learning about their dreams and what they are going to do about them. Marcia and her fellow Dream Coaches offer intense training throughout the year but Marcia is taking a sabbatical and will only be offering her 1 week Dream Coach session one more time – this October. I won’t be able to attend but if you are looking for something that will transform your life, look into it. It sounds amazing!

Since part of making your dreams come true is sharing them with others I thought I’d post my first dream here. I have many more but this is what I am focusing on right now and going through the process Marcia teaches with this

My dream is to teach a nationwide audience about the power of Story Time Felts and inspire them to encourage imagination in children.

I am going to be making some contacts in the media – print, radio, TV – and get my message out there to the masses. I know there is a part of our country that is hungry for the classic toys, to get the kids off of TV and video games and back to creating and thinking and learning through play. I am determined to reach them!

I had an old limiting belief that society wasn’t interested in this message but I learned on this weekend that that is something I made up in my head. Maybe a few people I’ve talked to weren’t crazy about the idea, or maybe someone told me to get with the times, or  something that had me feeling like “no one” is interested in this topic. But I haven’t talked to everyone, have I? How can I speak for them all?

So my new empowering belief is that everyone is eager to hear my message!  I am going to prove it by making this dream come true!
