When I say today’s prospects are SMARTER, I mean they are no longer fooled by slick company recruiting presentations, manipulative closing techniques or pie-in-the-sky income promises. They are aware of their options, they do their research and they make well thought-out decisions regarding the company they chose.
In addition, today’s prospect are TIRED. I don’t mean physically tired (although most are working way too hard at jobs they don’t like), I mean they are “sick and tired” of hearing about your miracle product, the upscale company headquarters, the brilliant executive team, the lucrative comp plan, the fabulous conventions, the world-class incentive trips, the proven formula and oh yes… the million dollar lifestyle of your top leaders! While I know it might hurt – the truth is that prospects are sick and tired of sitting through a sales presentation that is about YOU!

I know, it’s a bit confusing. It’s true many of you are simply following tradition – conducting opportunity presentations based on a format that has been handed down from generation to generation. It’s not your fault and it’s time to improve the process!
