Wow I just finished a great book that was a free giveaway at the DSWA convention in Las Vegas. It is called The Go-Giver and is written by Bob Burg and John David Mann. It is written like a parable and is a quick read. You have got to get this book. I will highlight the 5 principles here, but you really need to read this little book to fully understand. Try applying these to your life and see what happens.
The Five Laws of Stratospheric Success
The Law of Value
Your true worth is determined by how much more you give in value than you take in payment.
The Law of Compensation
Your income is determined by how many people you serve and how well you serve them.
The Law of Influence
Your influence is determined by how abundantly you place other people’s interests first.
The Law of Authenticity
The most valuable gift you have to offer is yourself.
The Law of Receptivity
The key to effective giving is to stay open to receiving.
Wow! Great concepts, easy reading, with relevant examples of how to experience each law and apply it in your life. Love it!

I met Wendy Simone at an EWomen Network meeting and told her I was ready for a new look. I was going to put it off till I lost a little weight and was ready for a total makeover but when she called to follow up, I decided to just go for it! I am so glad I did. Wendy is a professional hairdresser who has a remarkable skills and intuition! Go to her website and look at other before and after pictures - http://www.simonesalon.com She is just incredible. I didn’t really know what I wanted but I love what she came up with! It is easy to care for - looks great “done” as well as right out of the shower, and looks great all day long! If you are in the SF Bay Area or Sonoma County I highly recommend this salon. It is tucked away in Sebastopol, she will send you directions when you set your appointment. Leave a comment and let me know what you think of my new look!

Is this little girl adorable or what? She just got done helping her Mommy pack all those boxes full of candy making supplies and ingredients! Her mommy is my cousin Cheryl who owns An Occasional Chocolate (love that name!) where she teaches people like you and me how to make simple but delicious and oh so pretty candies and treats for gifts or entertaining!
You can just go to her website and look at the recipes and step by step instructions for dipping, molding, melting, drizzling and rolling to your heart’s content and end up with something that looks like it came from a high end gourmet chocolate shop! The recipes are free, but she also sells the best ingredients that lend themselves to the best looking and tasting results. As you can see by the picture, she ships most items Priority Mail right from her home warehouse so if you check it out today you will get your order in time for pre-Christmas candy making! The last week has been an incredible time of my life that I will never forget.
Due to my expressing my appreciation for a positive ripple that she started, national radio talk show host, Dr. Laura Schlessinger, endorsed me and Story Time Felts live on her show. I have done more business in the last week than I usually do in a month, thanks to her! Someone pinch me! Continue reading ‘Appreciation’

Hello everyone! Once in a while I am going to review products or businesses that I love - completely unsolicited and uncompensated - just for the pure joy of sharing something I adore! My first review is of Stacee at Jalapeno Designs, who made this beautiful expo banner for me.

Alia and Terry are showing it off for me!
